Lisa Ibarra holds a MA in Teaching in Literature degree from Bard College and a BA in English degree from Trinity University. She taught high school English in Ohio, North Carolina, Massachusetts and New York for ten years before moving into higher education. She was a National Board Certified teacher from 2018-2023 and served as a Reader for the Advanced Placement English Language and Composition exam.
As the current educational technologist for the College of Medicine at the Ohio State University, Lisa helps teams work more efficiently by building Power Automate Flows and by providing training on the suite of Microsoft 365 tools, CarmenCanvas, CarmenZoom, ScarletCanvas, Qualtrics, WordPress, and EchoVideo.
Through everything she does, Lisa hopes to create a more just, engaged, and literate world. Her career is a testament to her conviction that technology and the humanities can and should be equally valued in the service of creating that world.
